Prescott with Kathe Coot

- Wed July 8 – Prescott: If this trip is as productive as it has been in the past, we should come home with a nice list of our colorful summer visitors, including summer and western tanagers, blue grosbeaks, yellow warblers and painted redstarts, as we visit a variety of habitats—ponderosa forest, lakeside, cottonwoods and suburban pond. We’ll leave Scottsdale about 5am, with a quick stop at a Prescott Valley park, then explore different habitats. Lunch probably at a Thai restaurant that has not only been yummy in the past, but given some folks their first taste of Thai—they’re hooked! Return about 2:30ish. Easy: 2. Limit 7 participants.
