Special Field Trip with Rob Bowker (WAITLIST)

Desert Rivers Audubon (DRA) has invited SAS members to a special field trip with expert birder, Rob Bowker, where the Salt and Verde rivers meet. This area is home to distinct riparian and desert upland territory, making it a hotspot for birds, especially during fall migration.
Registration is required.

Location: Phon D Sutton Recreation Area, the second left off of Bush Hwy (Power Rd) after entering the Tonto National Forest area. Click here for a Google Maps pin.
Parking Pass: This field trip is within Tonto National Forest and requires a parking pass for all cars. Acceptable passes range from an $8 day pass to a lifetime America the Beautiful pass. Passes can be picked up at various locations, including several gas and convenience stores in the area. More information on how to purchase passes will be emailed upon registration for this trip.
