Mon, Jan 30 – Salt River sites: Start at 8am at the meeting spot
(Starbucks on the NW corner of Power and McDowell in Mesa; 344 S.
Power Road) to explore 3-4 sites along the Salt River that should give us a
host of waterfowl, some shorebirds and waders, raptors, desert songbirds
and more. Wrap up noonish at the last site.  Each participant is responsible
for getting a required National Park Pass or Tonto National Forest Day
Pass. Passes are available online: Tonto National Forest – Recreation
Passes & Permits (usda.gov) . The Golden Age Pass will work for this trip.
Other sites to explore will be discussed and open to participants for the
balance of the day. Limit 7 vaccinated participants. Reservations required.
