Paloma Community Park with Tom Locascio

Paloma Community Park Friday, October 30th at 3 pm between the lake and the Parking lot.
A fun evening of birding and awaiting the arrival of up to 100 cows and 20 Burrows at the feeding station on the border of the park and the Peoria Regional Preserve.
Limited to 12 participants. Minimum participants is 3.
Possible birds of interest include Bendire’s & Sage Thrasher, Sagebrush Sparrows, Horned & Meadow Larks, the usual desert species and surprise lake visitors.
Duration: 3 PM to sunset about 3 hours
Distance: 1 to 1 ½ miles
Difficulty: Two thirds of the walk is on flat pavement; the first third is on the relatively flat trail along the perimeter
fence. Some loose rocks are on the trail, so sturdy shoes are recommended.
