Hassayampa River Preserve with Kathe Coot

We’ll leave the Phoenix area to arrive at the Preserve about 8am, shortly after it opens. We’ll enjoy the trails at the Preserve until about 10am, and wrap up at the picnic area. The Preserve bird list is about 280 species, in addition to the regular residents, we could see both lingering summer visitors (flycatchers and vireos) plus some early returning winter migrants such Orange-crowned Warblers and House Wrens.

Expenses include a $5 entry fee at the Preserve and a gas donation to your driver.
