March 9th (Saturday): Fountain Hills Botanical Garden and Lake
We’ll meet about 7:15 in Fountain Hills, to start birding at the Botanical
Garden, with the hope of catching the common desert birds there before
moving onto the lake, where we should get a variety of waterfowl, plus
possible waders, shorebirds and surprises. We’ll wrap up about 10:30 in
Fountain Hills. Limit 7 participants. Difficulty 1-2 (uneven surfaces at the
Garden). Spaces will be held for Sonoran Audubon members until 2 weeks
