Family Bird Walk – Glendale Recharge Ponds

January 31 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Sonoran Audubon Society: Glendale Recharge Ponds

January 31, 2026 9:00am-11:00am

Leaders: Kaylee, Grey

For all experience levels – whether you’re new to birding or an expert – we will learn together

Another late morning bird walk to appreciate shorebirds in Glendale. Birds we may see and hear include ducks, egrets, herons, sparrows, and swallows. Grey will have the Merlin app running on a phone – so we can all brush up on our auditory birding skills.

The ponds are at 107th Ave north of Camelback.  Go north off Camelback, take a right at the end of 107th and park at the end of the fence.

Difficulty 1-2, flat dirt and paved paths – we will walk as much or as little as the group needs
