Bird Walk – White Tank Mountains
Join us for a family bird walk in the White Tank Mountains with guide, Tom Locascio!
Backed up to relatively open habitat to the West, the White Tanks are a hotspot for a diverse cast of birds and other wildlife. The typical birding session at this park consists of looking for birds around the Visitor Center before setting off on one of the park trails, such as Black Rock, Mule Deer, or Ford Canyon. The Wildlife Pond is a possibility during migration for Warblers and Buntings.
Location: White Tank Mountain Regional Park, address: 20304 W. White Tank Mountain Rd, Waddell, AZ 85355. Meet at the Nature Center (or behind it, as the group may be checking out birds). Click here for a Google Maps pin to the location.
