Family Bird Walk – Tres Rios
Sonoran Audubon Society: Tres Rios Wetlands November 15, 2025 9:30am-11:30am
Leaders: Kaylee, Grey
For all experience levels – whether you’re new to birding or an expert – we will learn together
Enjoy a relaxing late morning bird walk beside an Important Bird Area. Birds we may see and hear include egrets, herons, cormorants, ospreys, sparrows, phoebes, soras, and wrens. Grey will have Merlin running – so we can all brush up on our auditory birding skills. There may be other wildlife to appreciate as well such as small butterflies, damselflies, and dragonflies fluttering around.
Meet next to the gate in small dirt parking lot off of 91st ave
Use the I-10 West and get off onto exit 134 for 91st Avenue. Turn left and drive down for ~10 minutes. There will be a small dirt parking lot between Broadway and Baseline for Tres Rios Wetlands to the right.
