Sonoran Audubon Society will be collaborating with the City of Avondale and ASU at the Base and Meridian Wildlife Area Cleanup. This event will take place on April 17th from 7am-8am, and we will arrive at 6:15am to set up and 8:45am to take everything down.

We will be distributing native plants and seeds to these cleanup volunteers. The plants will be given out on a first-come first-serve basis, with people who show up earlier more likely to receive the plant species of their choice or a plant at all. Each plant will come with a care sheet and printouts from Sonoran Audubon Society to learn more about the Plants for Birds Initiative. To set up and take down the tabling with ample time, we will arrive ~45 minutes before and after the event.
