Our Mission
The
purposes of the Sonoran Audubon Society are to educate its members and
the community about birds, other wildlife, habitats, and the beauty and
importance
of the complex interactions that make for
a healthy environment, and to encourage and support their involvement
in the conservation, preservation and restoration of natural ecosystems
and of
biological diversity.

Dear
Sonoran Audubon
members: In the past, SAS has had our annual Planning Retreat at
Hassayampa River Preserve. Due to scheduling problems, the Board has
voted to have the Retreat at the West Valley Unitarian Universalist
Church (where we meet for our Board meetings). It will be held on
Wednesday, October 3, 2013, from 5-9 p.m.. This Retreat is open to all
who are interested in the growth of our chapter and planning the
activities that will enable us to do so. There will be sandwiches and
drinks served.
If you want to attend, please an e-mail or phone George Wall -
