Volunteers at the Base and Meridian Wildlife Area helped protect critical bird habitat.  As a part of the Plants for Birds Initiative, Sonoran Audubon Society is donating native plants to cleanup volunteers.

On April 18th from 8am-12pm, we will be helping plant a portion of these donated plants in the ground at the volunteers’ yards. This is to ensure that the plants get planted and that they have a higher probability of surviving the Arizona heat.
