SUMMARY:Lower Camp Creek with Kathe Anderson
DESCRIPTION:– Thursday\, Oct 12\, 2023 – Lower Camp Creek: This is on the way up to\nSeven Springs\, north of Scottsdale. I’m hoping we’ll catch resident birds\nfound in the higher desert (about 3\,300’)\, lingering migrants (maybe some\nwarblers and orioles?)\, plus early fall migrants (perhaps Townsend’s\nSolitaires and Western Bluebirds). The habitat varies from desert to the\nlovely shaded creek bottom\, suggesting different species. Difficulty: 2.5\n(uphill climb out\, but only about 1/3 mile). We’ll start about 7:15am from\nScottsdale and wrap up back in Scottsdale by noon-ish. Limited to 7\nvaccinated participants who are members of Sonoran Audubon (opening to\nothers at two weeks prior to the trip date if there is room).
