SUMMARY:Salt River Sites with Kathe Anderson
DESCRIPTION:Mon\, Jan 30 – Salt River sites: Start at 8am at the meeting spot\n(Starbucks on the NW corner of Power and McDowell in Mesa; 344 S.\nPower Road) to explore 3-4 sites along the Salt River that should give us a\nhost of waterfowl\, some shorebirds and waders\, raptors\, desert songbirds\nand more. Wrap up noonish at the last site.  Each participant is responsible\nfor getting a required National Park Pass or Tonto National Forest Day\nPass. Passes are available online: Tonto National Forest – Recreation\nPasses & Permits (usda.gov) . The Golden Age Pass will work for this trip.\nOther sites to explore will be discussed and open to participants for the\nbalance of the day. Limit 7 vaccinated participants. Reservations required.\nDifficulty 1-2. Please register with Kathe Anderson at kathe.coot@cox.net .
