Filling out the instructions below will add you to the waitlist\, but a spot is not guaranteed.* \nDesert Rivers Audubon (DRA) has invited SAS members to a special field trip with expert birder\, Rob Bowker\, where the Salt and Verde rivers meet. This area is home to distinct riparian and desert upland territory\, making it a hotspot for birds\, especially during fall migration. \nRegistration is required. \nTo register send the following information \n\nname\nphone number\nemail address\nnumber of people in your party\n\nto DesertRiversAudubon@gmail.com. Please put “Oct 10 Salt & Verde River Trip” in the subject line. You will receive a confirmation email with more details about this trip\, permitting\, and where to meet the leader. \nLocation: Phon D Sutton Recreation Area\, the second left off of Bush Hwy (Power Rd) after entering the Tonto National Forest area. Click here for a Google Maps pin. \nParking Pass: This field trip is within Tonto National Forest and requires a parking pass for all cars.  Acceptable passes range from an $8 day pass to a lifetime America the Beautiful pass. Passes can be picked up at various locations\, including several gas and convenience stores in the area.
