A Tonto\nNational Forest or National Parks pass is required. A morning trip\, ending\nabout 11. Limit 7 participants. DESCRIPTION:WELCOME TO THE SAS SPRING PICNIC AND BIRD WALKS \nWHERE: GLENDALE’S THUNDERBIRD CONSERVATION PARK \nSATURDAY APRIL 20\, 2024 \n8:00 AM FOR BIRD WALKS \nFOR FUN AND CONVERSATION: \n8:30 AM TO 12:30 AM AT RAMADA #5 \nThe Spring SAS Picnic and Bird Walks is on Saturday\, April 20th\, at the Glendale Thunderbird Conservation Park. The bird walks with Bob McCormick (“McBob”) will begin at 8 AM. The ramada that SAShas leased is #5 and the chapter has it from 8:30AM to 12:30 AM. \nThe ramada is located very near the little bridge that crosses a wash on the south side of the picnic area (See map below). Parking may be scarce\, so come early and try to grap a spot as the early morning walkers finish up and exit the park. \nBRING YOUR LUNCH\, your binoculars\, hat\, sun screen and comfy shoes.
