On migration Black hawks spend the night south of Tubac and in the morning they take off and move north up the freeway corridor near a local park. Migration is weather dependent and we have tried to time this trip during their peak migration.. Other migrant raptors along this stretch of the Santa Cruz can includes Zone-tailed, Red-tailed, Gray, and Cooper’s Hawks; Peregrine Falcon, American Kestrel, Turkey Vultures and a few Black Vultures. The first or both mornings we will experience this hawk migration and in the afternoons we will visit other local hotspots

We will leave the Phoenix area very early on Thursday and return late afternoon/early afternoon on Friday.

Because we need to make hotel reservations in Green Valley, please sign up by Feb. 20th

Limited to 8 people.
