On Saturday, October 25th, Cave Creek Regional Park is Celebrating its “22st Anniversary” with an “Open House”, and “Halloween Howl!” The fun starts at 4pm with Joe Ford, from the Sonoran Audubon Society, giving a fun presentation about Owls! From 5-9pm, meet our Special Guests and their Critters! “Wild at Heart”, a local raptor rehabilitation organization, will be here with live hawks, owls, and more, to view up-close! “Rattlesnake Solutions” owner, Bryan Hughes, will be here with his collection of live Rattlesnakes, safely contained, for your viewing pleasure! Arizona State University students will have loads of cool Insects for you to see and touch! They will be playing “Bug Theater” with you, as well! At 6pm, we will have a “Coyote Howling” Contest! Be sure to give it your best Wail! At 7pm, is the “Creative Costume Contest”! Judges will be looking for; the “Most Original”, the best “Desert Critter”, the “Cutest”, and the best “Junior Ranger” costumes! There will be Marshmallow Roasting, Live Music, Games, and “Trick-or-Treating”, and More!!! Bring your friends and a picnic dinner to enjoy a fun evening in the park!
