The Dwayne Fink led a group of Sonoran Audubon Society and Birders’ Anonymous members down the Salt River from Central Ave. The attendees were Helayn Arranguena, Earl & Pat Edris, Mark & Ginny Horlings, Tom Lazzelle, Vera Markham, Bob McCormick, Chuck & Lorretta Richards, Donna Smith and George Wall.

The birds seen were Mallard, Connamon Teal, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Green Heron, Osprey, Cooper’s Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk, Peregrine Falcon, Gambel’s Quail, Common Snipe, Killdeer, Rock Dove, Mourning Dove, Anna’s Hummingbird, Say’s Phoebe, Black Phoebe, Loggerhead Shrike, Marsh Wren, Verdin, Cliff Swallow, House Sparrow, House Finch, Orange-crowned Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, Song Sparrow, Lincoln’s Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow, Abert’s Towhee, Northern Cardinal, Red-winged Blackbird and Great-tailed Grackle – a total of 33 species.
