We
drove around checking most of the ponds in this community. The day was
sunny, but got cold (O.K. chilly by Chicago standards) when the winds
started gusting in the late morning. We found most of our target birds
except the scaup and merangsers and ended with a total of 34 species.
Several of us enjoyed a nice lunch at Tuscana’s after the trip.
